🛑 “There is no driver shortage. There’s a shortage of drivers willing to work for peanuts. There’s a shortage of drivers that meet today’s carrier standards. There’s a shortage of people that want to do certain jobs with today’s job market when they have alternatives.”

Some carriers are at capacity, meaning they can be selective with hiring. But who created this problem? The industry itself.

💰 Retention bonuses? They need to actually retain drivers, not just lure them in.
🤝 Respect? It’s not a job perk – it’s something earned.

To fix the issue, we must look inward at pay, working conditions, and industry standards.
